Church History
A Non-Conformist Church was founded circa 1768, comprising Independents (Congregationalists) & Baptists. (Prior to 1814 when formal records began, the Church ‘history’ has been lost.) The Church was reconstituted in 1828 & became a Baptist Church with its membership peaking towards the end of the 19th Century, when it was the second biggest Church in Cambridgeshire. Due to structural problems with the Church building, a need arose to replace them & this happened in 1905, with a main chapel seating 440.
Today
Haddenham Baptist Church is a growing church fellowship seeking to serve God as individuals and in the community.
