CHILDREN

It is important for children to be able to develop in a safe environment, but where they can express themselves and let off some of their energy. At Haddenham Baptist Church we endeavour to provide this envirnment, as unless the children are content the parents will not be able to properly be able to concentrate on what God has to say

During the week Jelly Tots gives mums a chance to meet and chat whilst the toddlers get the opportunity to play. We also have involvement in the play groups in Wilburton and Aldreth

On Sundays the children are encouraged to take part in the service, whether taking the collection or activitly participating the children's talk, this can be great fun, with the older Youth contributing in unexpected ways. The children then leave for their own activities which often involves making things.

Family services are much shorter, frequently involving puppets, music and drama. These are tailored to the young ones, however enjoyed by the young of mind.

Special service include the Nativity where any child can take part, and usually whichever character they wish to be, which had some had very memorable outcomes.

Holiday Clubs are important to the fellowship, providing welcome relief to parents during the school holidays. Over the years these have well subscribed and all the children have had a great time.

For the children we have periodic parties, these include the Light Party in late October and a Christmas Party these are times of great fun and plenty of energy is expended at these events
