Quiet Days at Lode chapel

After the "Big Silence" broadcast on the BBC last year, many more people are seeing the positive effects of taking time out for some guided silence. The days start run 10am-4pm, cost £15 each (including refreshments and a simple lunch) and are led by Baptist minister and spiritual director, Rev. Tricia Troughton. On three of the quiet days, those marked with *, Tricia will be joined by spiritual director and artist Sue Ginsberg. For a small additional fee of £3 on these days you have the option of being guided by Sue in the use of ‘Art in Prayer’. *Saturday 8th October – Hope in Heaven (Mark 12:18-27) Saturday 12th November – Hope in Dark Places (Isaiah 8:16-9:7) * Saturday 10th December – Hope in the Desert (Isaiah 35) Saturday 14th January – Walking with God (Genesis 6:1-10) * Saturday 11th February – Working Against the Stream (2 Timothy 3) Saturday 10th March – Rest and Reflection (Hebrews 4:1-13) More details can be found at www.lodechapel.org.uk and a registration form can also be downloaded there.
