Dear Family and Friends,
Newsletter – April 2009
Matt. 6:33 – Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well.
Matt. 11:29-30 – Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.
These words in the above scriptures are Jesus speaking to you and me personally, and now is the time for us as believers to come and spend time listening to what the Holy Spirit is saying to us daily. This will enable us to continue to live in victory even if the things in the world look bad. Jesus Christ is still Lord and He is the way for us to come into His rest when all around us people are giving up and are in turmoil and stress. We can find rest in Jesus every day. Always remember prayer of thanksgiving first, reading the Word aloud second, then sit at Jesus’ feet and listen third, and quick obedience fourth. These simple teachings will keep you in Almighty God’s perfect will every day. Please spend time with Jesus daily.
What a wonderful time to be about our Master’s business. It is a time for rejoicing in Jesus as the great harvest is almost upon us. As we Christians take our stand and are full of joy many people will come and ask how it is that we are blessed and able to continue our walk and rest in the circumstances that surround us.
Richard has just returned from India and it was one of the best mission trips he has ever experienced. The three-day Pastors’ Conference was the best attended in India that he and Sudheer have had. Over 500 pastors were in attendance on the last day. There were nine pastors from the State of Orissa. Richard, Michael and Brent danced and rejoiced with them and it was very humbling to be on the platform with them as out of the terrible persecution they have undergone, they all had great joy in the Lord and sung heartily for Jesus.
Also two pastor’s widows attended. When they gave their testimonies regarding the martyrdom of their husbands there was not a dry eye in the place. Richard, Michael and Brent were able to stand with them and cry and pray with them. It was an awesome time. On the last day there were many testimonies from pastors how they had been encouraged, and that they all were going back to their villages with new fire of God within them for Jesus and expecting to see signs, wonders and miracles to follow them.
We are arranging to hold a Pastors’ Conference on the border of the State of Orissa in March 2010 so that at least 150 pastors can attend.
We dedicated six water wells, visited two homes for the elderly, baptized thirteen people in water, visited three children’s homes, a leper colony, and had outreach meetings at each place. Many gave their lives to Jesus and all will be followed up.
In one day we all ministered to the railway/street children, prayed for the sick many of whom were healed, gave shoebox gifts to the needy, fed the hungry, clothed the naked, ministered to the trainee nurses and ate with and ministered to one of the local government members. Richard said that it was something he never dreamed of being able to do all in one day! Please give Jesus all the glory and honour as we will not touch His glory and honour.
PRAYER POINTS FOR EARE MINISTRIES
Here is the information for you about EARE Ministries, through who we can minister the love of JESUS to so many people.
John Shiver and Sudheer worked out that in the years I have been going to minister with them, I have been able to see at least 200,000 men, women and children’s lives changed, it is only by the love of God and the power of the Holy Spirit, and I give Jesus all the glory and I refuse to take any glory for myself.
Without all of our partners I could do nothing, it is people like you who make it all possible.
Here are the major points that Sudheer and I have talked through that we ask you and your partners to pray about.
1. Low Cost Housing Project for the poor people who are not able to construct the house, we are looking to God for 78 houses for Yanadhi and Leprosy people in two villages. The local authorities request us to help with the need of reinforcing steel and cement.
Each house needs $250. 78 houses x $250 = $29,500.
2. Two Buffalos for elderly home and tribal Orphan Children’s Home.
Each Buffalo cost $600.
3. Cots and Mattresses for Old aged home at Tippalakatta.
25 cots and mattresses $100 each = $2,500.
4. Release of young prostitutes from bondage of slavery including setting up of self support.
Five at the moment, cost $1,000 each = $5,000.
5. Water Wells, drill and supply and fix hand pump to supply at least 1000 people daily with fresh water, which stops water born diseases, costs $1,000 each.
We need ten wells for dedication in September.
Ten Wells cost $1,000 each = $10,000.
6. Purchase of Store/house/office, for ministry costing $37,000 deposit of $11,360 has been paid.
$25,640 needed.
7. Day care center purchase for the Yanadhi children (poorest of the poor and untouchables), we have 50 children.
Cost $25 each child per month to support them = $1,250, plus cost of a building.
8. Support for Gypsy orphan children, food, clothes, staff and education.
We have seventy-five children at a cost of $360 each child per year = $27,000.
9. Construction of an orphan children’s home $47,474.
10. We have 40 ministry staff working in office and driving, overseeing the operations of all the various jobs that need to be carried out in the ministry. A lot of these people are volunteers; we give an honorarium, (general fund).
Forty staff $480 each per year =$19,200.
11. Nurse in Training Support, clothes, food, accommodation, staff to train and care for them.
$30 per month for each nurse.
12. Assist Pastor Living Costs, One bag of rice for each Pastor, Costs $30. We are looking to support 100 pastors, 100 x $ 30 = $3,000.
13. New Cameras needed to keep records of the ministry, one professional digital and one video.
These are the priorities that we ask you to pray about, if you feel any prompting from the LORD to become a partner, please feel free to contact me, and I will be happy to arrange it for you.
I am willing to come and talk with any group of people who would like to know more. There will be a meeting on June 20th at Jay Vaughn's where Bishop Sudheer Kumar and myself will be able to answer any questions you may have.
Everything that EARE MINISTRIES carries out is recorded and photographed, and I personally minister with them in India twice yearly.
The Tuesday meetings continue when Richard is at home. Helen continues to get stronger and is able to walk very well now.
Thank you for your partnership in this ministry around the world. Without your prayers and partnership it would be impossible so please be encouraged. You all share with us and one day we will hear these words “Well done good and faithful servants, come and take your place”. It will be Jesus Himself speaking to us but we must stand strong in the faith He has given us.
Please pray for us - For continued wisdom on where to go (and where not to go).
We are on holiday from 17 – 26 April with Richard preaching on 19 April in Sheringham.
Richard will be visiting the following places:
Thomasville, GA – 29 April – 2 May.

Love and blessings to you all,
Richard and Helen.
